I fell in love with rose tea accidentally but I’m so glad I did. What drew me in was its delicate floral aroma but I was captivated by its many self care benefits. I’ve been drinking it almost every day now. It’s very high on my list of favorite teas. Now, you might not be a tea enthusiast like I am but I think if you tried it, you’d like it. Specifically, I’ll be writing mostly about Tulsi Sweet Rose Tea. It features Organic Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, and Organic Rose Petal, along with Chamomile and Lemon Myrtle leaf. Keep reading to find out why it’s the perfect tea to add to your self care routine.

Reasons to add Tulsi Sweet Rose Tea to Your Self Care Routine
1. Stress Relief
Even before you take a sip, a freshly steeped cup of Tulsi Sweet Rose Tea can relieve most of your stress. It’s aroma is so relaxing and it fills the room like a lit candle or diffusing essential oils would. I drink it in the morning and it prepares me for a stress-free day. You can also drink it at night before bed to unwind and get better sleep.
2. Uplifts Your Mood
Honestly, I can’t sip on a cup of this rose tea and be in a bad mood at the same time. There’s something about it that seems to distract me from any negative emotions I might be feeling in the moment and helps me to process them better. Since a huge cause of a bad mood is stress, it makes sense that rose tea relieves stress and uplifts your mood at the same time.
3. It’s an Adaptogen
An adaptogen is a non-toxic plant that helps your body to resist physical, chemical and biological stressors. They also help to balance your hormones and reduce adrenal fatigue. According to research, there’s actually a correlation between stress, sleep, and immunity. Adaptogens help to create a stronger defense system against stress and sickness in your body.

4. Promotes Healthy Skin
Pretty much any form of rose tea you find will promote healthy skin. It’s packed with Vitamin C and contains antioxidants that skin loves. Rose petals are also rich in germicide, fighting breakouts and other skin conditions. No wonder Rose Water is in so many popular skincare and beauty products.
5. Free of Caffeine
Okay, I know most of us can’t live without our caffeine but I think it’s a great thing that this tea is free from it. It’s important to take time away from the busyness of life and just relax. A caffeine free tea like this one helps you to do just that.
6. Helps Ease Menstrual Pain
If you struggle with intense pain during your cycle, rose tea can help. It helps to alleviate the heaviness of your flow, lowering the pain. It’s also a great solution for infertility and irregular periods. Use it along with peppermint tea for a much smoother cycle.

7. Calming Aroma
When I’m deciding which teas I want to try, I focus on its aroma. I mentioned earlier that rose tea’s aroma is delicate and flowery. It’ll have you feeling like you’re in a spa. I’ve left my tea on my desk and left for a few hours, and when I came back the aroma filled the entire room. I recently read an article about how great meaningful smells are for self-care. They stimulate your mind and help bring stability in moments of chaos.
