Habakkuk: Living by Faith in A Broken World (Digital Product)

Description

Bible Study Guide for Women Struggling with Hardships and Uncertainty

The Old Testament prophet, Habakkuk, was deeply distressed by the sin and rampant injustice taking place in Judah. He cries out to the Lord on behalf of his people and learns that God’s plan to address Judah’s sin is not at all what he expected or hoped: on the surface it is way worse than anything he could have imagined. Turning towards the Lord with his questions and doubts, Habakkuk discovers that sometimes things need to get worse before they can get better. In the beginning of the book, he wrestles with God’s decision to use a nation more sinful than Judah to judge them but by the end of the book, he feels content to wait patiently for the salvation of his people.

Habakkuk’s situation is not unlike our own. We experience brokenness, witness sin and injustices, and are confronted with the pain and suffering in our world. Instead of being overwhelmed by the uncertainties of life, this book will encourage you to find confidence in the God of your salvation.
