What’s your favorite fall drink? I’d definitely say that Chai Tea Latte’s are my favorite. I love the aromatic black tea, warm spices, creamy almond milk, and hint of sweetness that make up the Chai Latte. It’s so good. While you’ve probably had a few Chai Latte’s here and there, I wonder if you’ve ever tried a Golden Chai Latte? No? Good news: I’m going to share a quick and easy anti-inflammatory Golden Chai Latte Recipe that takes less than 7 minutes to make. No more running to Starbucks for a six dollar drink when it’s so easy to make at home.

Golden Chai Latte: What is it?
I’d call the Golden Latte, also known as Turmeric Chai Latte, a much healthier spin on the traditional Chai. You’ve probably seen it marketed as a health drink in your local coffee shop. Turmeric, the main ingredient that separates Golden Chai from regular Chai, is a powerful anti-inflammatory spice. If you didn’t know, inflammation can actually contribute to the worsening of many health issues. Too much inflammation in your body can cause damage to healthy cells, tissues, and organs. Consequently, high levels of inflammation are actually linked to cancer, heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, and obesity. Drinking Golden Chai every now and then is a great way to fight inflammation in your body while also having a delicious, fall drink.
Golden Chai Tea Benefits
Now that you know Golden Chai is a powerful health drink, I’m sure you probably want to know about some of its benefits. Golden Chai can improve your health in many ways. First, Golden Chai (and any type of Chai for that matter), may actually improve your heart health. Cinnamon, one of the spices regularly used in Chai is actually thought to help lower blood pressure. It may also improve your blood sugar levels. Once again, Chai includes cinnamon and ginger, ingredients which are believed to have a positive effect on blood sugar. Finally, Chai Latte’s may also fight nausea and help digestion. And again, we know from the previous section that the turmeric in Golden Chai can greatly lower inflammation in your body.

How to Make An Easy Chai Latte in Less Than 7 Minutes
Now we’re getting to the good stuff. This is how you make the perfect Golden Chai Latte in less than 7 minutes. You know that list of Chai Latte ingredients I shared earlier? Well, I actually want you to forget about it. For the most part, anyway. My secret method for making the perfect Golden Chai Latte in a short amount of time is by actually using a Golden Chai tea bag in place of my black tea and spices! It’s kind of cheating, I know, but it’s so so good.
Organic Golden Chai by Stash Tea via Sips By
I use an Organic Golden Chai tea bag from Stash Tea, which was actually gifted to me via the Sips By tea subscription box. If you haven’t heard of Sips By, its a low cost tea subscription service that sends you a variety of teas to try every month. They also provide coupon codes in case you really loved the tea’s you tried and want to make a purchase. If you love tea like I do, it’s a great investment!
Essentially, you only need three ingredients for this easy latte recipe: a milk of your choice, your organic golden chai tea bag, and brown sugar. If you want, you can add in vanilla and additional spices for a stronger taste.

Steps To Making the Perfect Golden Chai Latte
Step 1: Fill your kettle with water and heat it until it reaches 212°F. You can leave it until it comes to a full boil as water typically boils at 212°F
Step 2: Place your tea bag in a mug and fill it with ⅔ cup of water. It’s really important not to fill your mug all the way, since you want the tea to be as concentrated as possible to make a good latte. Steep for 3-5 minutes. You can use two tea bags for an even stronger taste.
Step 3: Heat your choice of milk in a saucepan until it begins to froth. I like to add a little bit of a spice blend to my milk but that’s completely up to you.
Step 4: Once your milk is ready, pour it into a separate mug. If you want great foam, I highly recommend using the Matcha DNA milk frother from Amazon. It’s less than $10 and it works perfectly. If you don’t have a frother, try putting the warm milk into a mason jar and shaking vigorously until it gets to the desired consistency.
Step 5: Once your tea is ready, add one teaspoon of sugar.
Step 6: Pour the warm milk over the tea and enjoy!
There you have it! Your Golden Latte is ready in less than 7 minutes. If you try this Golden Chai Latte recipe, please be sure to let me know. I’m really curious to find out if you can make it in less than 7 minutes!
